"We loved everything BUT found getting around without a car is very difficult and we had to organise taxis which were very expensive (example: 2 return journeys one a 12 minute drive to Martina Franca from Borga del tempo Ritrovato and one longer return to Ostuni both cost €100 each time! No option for us as these were cars organised by the hotel. A cheaper more frequent taxi service around the area (Uber for eg) is necessary if tourists want to stay outside the towns. This is especially true if you are an older tourist, not confident with driving or just don’t hire a car. Otherwise a lovely area and we would return. "

"Andrebbe chiuso il centro al traffico e multato il parcheggio selvaggio, basta assumere due vigili, ve li ripagate con le multe ed il paese ne guadagna in vivibilità attrattiva per i turisti, decoro e dignità "
